oUR hISTORY

Alternative Building Concepts, Inc. (ABC) was established in Arizona in 2004. The main focus of operation was marketing and distributing Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF's) in Arizona and Nevada. Within the first two years, ABC realized that consumers needed to have access to industry tools for proper installs. One of the most essential tools to have is an ICF alignment system to assist the installer to complete project successfully.

During the following years, as larger ICF commercial projects evolved, so did the need for additional bracing units. In 2010, ABC switched its business focus from being an independent ICF distributor to a rental and consulting firm for ICF construction. We dropped our ICF flat panel wall distributorships and opened our door to work with all of the ICF manufacturers and distributors in the southwest United States. We now help many ICF manufacturers and distributors with onsite consulting for the 1st time ICF installers and owner builders. Rent equipment for their projects and offer their customers all the accessory items needed to construct an ICF wall.

In 2016, ABC signed an exclusive agreement with iSPAN Composite TotalJoist to help expand their business in the ICF and masonry industry. Our regional territory includes: California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada and Utah. After signing the agreement with iSPAN, Alternative Building Concepts, Inc., expanded its tool rental business to include Hilti tools and fasteners for the iSPAN installation.
